I guess I'm going to have to learn to do machine hems!! Every one wants to charge $10 to $20 to do a 15 minute job, if it takes them that long.... Then coupled by the fact that they are all foreigners and hard to understand. Plus they are rude and impersonable. Mike, himself, is very short on patients & rude. I went to pick up a top & a pair of shorts I had them machine hem. The top was cut asymmetrical and I wanted it even on the hem. He tried to charge me $10 to cut the asymmetrical part off and just hem that side. It wouldn't have been so bad, but, the hem line does not match the back side at the junction. Also, they left all the long strings instead of clipping them. I asked him if he would give me a reduction since he only did one side, and he got mad!! He acted like I insulted him & he very hastily gave me his new total!! I will only go to him in the future if he is the LAST RESORT!!
