Was not impressed with Dr Bondy. He seemed rushed, and was unwilling to have open and honest conversation. He was a bit hostile when asked questions. When he called with results, the call dropped, i called immediately back and was told he was busy. The charge a lot to be left with questions.

We were referred here when our dog chipped her tooth. Our regular vet was honest enough to admit that this tooth (the large molar) was very difficult to pull and frequently could even break the jaw if not done properly, and root canals with crowning was "above his pay grade." I was understandably very nervous, but the veterinary dentist and all of his staff were great. He explained in detail what he'd do, what to expect, and answered thoroughly every question. His assistant was nothing short of wonderful. They spent more time with us than any human doctor I've seen, making us feel that our pet was as important to them as she is to us. The office is beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. I would never have guessed it to be for animals rather than humans if I didn't already know better. Every veterinarian on staff is board certified in their specialty. I'm very thankful this awesome place exists in our area. As for cost, yes it isn't cheap, but cheap isn't what I want for my baby. However, I didn't experience anything like the price gouging implied here by others. I was told up front and given the chance to accept or decline any other proceedures I might want or need while she was anesthesized. I intend on returning to have her cherry eyes corrected, and I would hope and expect to receive the same wonderful treatment as I did with her teeth. You get what you pay for, and although I'm nowhere near well-off, I want the best for my best friend.

Thank goodness there is a Veterinarian Oncologist nearby! Dr. Hillman has been wonderful in determining the best course of treatment for our giant shepherd, Balto, who's suffering from canine lymphoma.

You're better off staying with...

You're better off staying with a small town local vet; better service, less cost, cleaner office, more caring vets and staff. I took my puppy here for seizures & a high liver test. We called prior was told we didn't need an ultrasound from our local vet. We get there & they decide pup needs one anyway & are charged 5x more for it. Plus, they fed puppy corn-based food while we were gone after being told many times he was severely allergic! They also cut his tummy with trimmers when clipping for ultrasound & the place is covered in dog hair. We got there at opening & the hair was flying, even in the exam rooms; it was horrible (& not sanitary!).

My dog was sent to the doctor ...

My dog was sent to the doctor here to have his eyes checked for glaucoma. His eyes were fine so we were told that his teeth, or one tooth in particular was absessed and needed to be pulled right away because my dog was in pain and the infection could and would spread. So of course I forked over a ridiculously large amount of money to have his teeth cleaned and his tooth pulled with the assurance that his eye problem would improve and his pain would get better. Of course the tooth they pulled was on the other side of his mouth from his bad eye and the next day his other eye was swollen and by the third day he was blind in both eyes. The tooth they did pull, it was later determined, was not bad either. Be very careful if you see these doctors and double check everything you are told because they will take you to the cleaners. They use peoples love of their pet to basically extort money from them. I would actually give them 1/2 star, but only because he did acutally check my dogs eye pressure.
