Allied Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allied Systems Holdings, the largest motor carrier in North America specializing in the delivery of automobiles and light trucks. Allied Systems, through its subsidiaries, transports automobiles and light trucks for all major domestic and foreign manufacturers primarily from manufacturing plants, rail ramps, ports and auction to automobile dealers through out the United States and Canada. The company moves more than 9 million vehicles annually via its fleet of approximately 4,000 trucks and approximately 90 locations throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to delivery of vehicles to dealers, Allied Systems also provides a number of support services to move the vehicles on their way through the logistics chain. These services include yard and inventory management, rail loading and unloading services, pick up and delivery of lease return vehicles, as well as other miscellaneous moves of finished vehicles.
