We moved into our home with a one piece fiberglass pool in the backyard that hasn't been used for like 5 or so years. As damaged as the sides of the pool were, and with years of rainwater and neglect, there was a full blown ecosystem in the backyard. My husband called Howard's Pools to see what the best options were to fill it, and instead, Mr. Mikita assured us that the pool was salvageable. Sure enough, after clearing the muck out and stabilizing the perimeter, resurfacing what seemed to be like 20 places, and with a new paint job we had not just a pool, but an amazingly beautiful addition to our backyard and to our home as a whole. What we paid was nowhere near how much it would've cost us to get a brand new pool, which is what we have now. I seriously, without a doubt wouldn't call anyone else for any pool services. These guys are the real deal! :)

Howards Pool Services took time to explain the important steps to this first time pool owner. I felt so much more at ease after the owners instructions. Thanks again. Recommend highly!!!

Howard's Pool Services come out and to repair some cracks and paint my pool last year. They did an amazing job! Very professional! They will be installing tile borders this spring. Can't wait!

By far the worst service I have EVER had! We have a leak in our pool. Howard's has been recommended to us by numerous people as being really good at their work on fiberglass pools. We called him to set up an appointment and right away, without even looking at the pool, he already made assumptions of what the problem was. No problem, except when he arrived to our house to work on the pool he did no other measures to attempt to determine where the leak was coming from. He just based his assumption off of his experiences in the past. He charged us $400 dollars to drain our pool (with cost $100 by itself) to pull our pool light out and put putty around the wiring. When asked if that would fix the problem, he did not know. He said if that is not it then it was the main drain or we will have to take the light out. Which he said he will charge another $400 to come out and put a patch on the light, PLUS another $400 to patch the main drain. Yet he was still unsure if these were the areas where the leaks were coming from. Against my judgement we already paid $400 for something that didn't work and he wants us to pay $800 more for something that MAY work, no thanks! He does not guarantee his work, nor does he really seem to care if there is a solution. My opinion leads that he cares more about taking your money and creating situations to have him keep coming back for more work.

Howard Mikita painted my pool ...

Howard Mikita painted my pool approx. 10 years ago so I thought when I needed repairs and cleaning this year his company would be the right one. After cleaning and acid washing my fiberglass pool I have rusty metal water that can not be corrected after consulting and paying three other pool companies to help. They all did terrific work but Howard's Pool Service has damaged my pool so severely no one is able to fix the surface problems caused by the one person/company I originally paid to open and clean my pool.

BEWARE DOESN'T STAND BEHIND HIS WORK

Howard repaired my pool last year and painted it. He gave me a quote before he started. When he finished he charged me $800 more than what he had quoted. Then the paint started coming off when we opened the pool this year. Less than 1 year and now I have to pay to have it repainted. He will not warranty his work so $4,500 and now I have to pay to have the pool painted again! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE Howard does NOT stand behind his work and his written quotes don't mean anything!!!! I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!
