I just left this shop with my wife. I purchased 2 firearms with accessories and my wife purchased 1 as well. We were met and greeted as soon as we came in by Mr. Mike. He was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end from one veteran to another. His firearms knowledge is keen as well. Don't let the negative reviews detour you because it is all about your demeanor. I have bought many guns from here and would recommend them for anyone looking for variety and good conversation. Thanks for your service Mike and crew.

now there are a lot of negative reviews out there. I do know know a lot about guns, but I know enough to ask for help. We have bought 5 guns from them now over 8 years ( for myself and my wife). We have never been treated any way but considerate. It's not in the best part of town, but it's not bad unless you are a snob. I've seen employees there get really frustrated. If you stand back and listen, it seems everyone wants to show how much they know, and shoot the breeze even when they are busy. Yes their prices are higher than some, but not higher than others. nowhere around has near the selection. You can find what you want and get it on the spot. Check them out, it's worth the trip. At the worst you can leave and go elsewhere.

Prices are good, and the employees are very helpful. I like the wide selection of firearms and brands. I would not, however, recommend purchasing AK-47's, or anything sold by Century Firearms. The AK-47 that I purchased is the worst rifle that I've ever shot, and Century will not honor the one year warranty. Century is full of excuses of why they will not help. I went to this store in 2009 and received horrible service. The staff was rude and obnoxious. BUT. I went there recently out of convenience and a fair price on a gun I wanted that is hard to find and found all of them to be very polite and helpful. I think they might have cleaned house or given employee's a mental reset. You might want to check with them again these days.

My experience was completely different this past month when I went to Guns and Ammo, mainly because they have the best inventory to choose from when looking for a pistol. Being in sales myself, I am very critical of a bad customer service. Upon arriving they were completely swamped with customers and I expected a long wait. Jason walked out for the back and instead of going to lunch he asked if he could help us. He was knowable, professional and friendly. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the whole experience! We asked a lot of questions and he answered them with out making us feel stupid.They even took time to show me how to break down a 1911 to clean and put it back together! I have since returned and had another great purchase experience! Not sure why some many others are having such a hard time, but I highly recommend them!

I went in this store last week to buy a new gun. None of the employees would say a word to me as I browsed. When I chose my gun the employee wouldn't even look at me. After the purchase and background check the employee who I believe was the manager. Wouldn't get off his chair and snapped at me because I started filling out the document like he pointed to. He then told me I will have to go get ammo at the other side where the employee there ignored me and talked about landscaping to a man for 45 mins only to tell me the manager had the ammo. When I walked back over to him he got off his chair finally to help a woman who was only looking and said she didn't need help. He then looked at me in anger and walked to the back of the store. 20 mins for a gun an over an hour for ammo and oil. Worst store I have ever been too.

The Guns and Ammo has to be the worst of the worst guns stores I have ever set foot in. They prices are outrageous. Their customer service is down right awful. They will try to steal your gun from you if your trying to sell it. They are extremely rude. Do not go there because you will not be treated well at all. They do not respect their customers at all. STAY AWAY BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This store is awful! NEVER trade a weapon here, they will offer you pennies on the dollar. The employees are extremely rude. The sit and stand there looking absolutely miserable, God help you if you have to ask them a question and make them move. Out of the 50+ gun stores I have visited across the country, this is certainly the worst one I have been to.

I will try to be as calm and respectful as I can be with this review. First, they put a capital G in gouge. Second, they are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. They do not care if you buy one or ten guns from them, they will still treat you like garbage. At this point, they are about $200-$300 higher than MSRP on their firearms. Their owner is probably one of the biggest aholes that I have ever had the displeasure of ever meeting. The fat bald wanna be military guy with glasses is probably the rudest one there. Heaven forbid he ever wait on you. I am very glad that they showed to me who they really are. I will certainly take my thousands a year that I spend of firearms to a more respectful dealer in Cordova. They are asking $2200-$2500 per AR-15. Guys, that hype was so last month. Everyone else is about back on par with what they were 2 months ago. Stop with the gouging. It's stupid



Warning, do not try to trade a gun in there. I witnessed a gentleman trying to trade a 9mm M&P up to a .40 M&P and was only offered $140 for the firearm. This firearm was in great shape and complete with extra mags and case. There was another gentlemen who had a Colt AR-15 with 4 mags and case. They were only willing to offer him $500 for everything. Rip Off!



I absolutely refuse to do business with this place. Screw them.

They are price gouging! I was there for the first, and last, time and found Glock extended capacity magazines at twice the MSRP. Another customer told me that he had had a shotgun on layaway and came in to buy it and was told that they had taken it out of layaway and sold it for 3 times what the price was when he put it in layaway. Stay AWAY.
