Great Location in East Memphis, fairly easy to find. The salon is super nice on the inside, very upscale. Reminiscent of a trendy NYC salon inside. Great color schemes and decor.

CON's:



The 1 hour wait before receiving services. I sat in the waiting room for what seemed to be an eternity before having my hair done, then after I was finally called to the back, I was seated in another waiting area and noticed about 10 other people sitting under dryers, etc. I think they should space appointments out a little further so clients don't feel like they're being rushed out once they make it to the stylists chair. From what I understand the location is new and has not been open long, so I will give them another shot, perhaps they're still working the kinks out of scheduling, etc.

I will return again, but if I have to wait long before seeing a stylist/technician, I will go elsewhere.

This hairstylist completely ruined my hair! Although I got my haircut 2 month ago, my hair is still terrible and to this day I do not know how to fix it in the morning so I don’t look like a homeless person or like I forgot my hat while my hair is growing back after the chemo…!



The day off my appointment the salon closed earlier due to bad weather but failed to inform me about that, yet the receptionist kept telling me that she called me numerous times that day and could not leave a message. Too bad that my call was laying in front of me all day in the office and did not ring once...heh



So when I got to the salon they were close and I needed my hair done for following night party. Finally I got in touch with someone from the salon and after numerous begging they agreed to still give me haircut that afternoon, yet made me wait 45 min for the hairstylist outside of closed salon, which forced me to be late for an important meeting I had rescheduled after the hair appointment.



If all that was not enough, the hairstylist by mistake chopped off almost all my long hair. I asked for a layered haircut, about an inch above the shoulders with choppy bang, and at that time it did not seem as too complicated request since the exact photo of the haircut was pulled up on my laptop the whole time he was cutting my hair (?).



Yet after he already cut the back, I realized that the hair there were barely to the base of my neck! The hairstylist said oops but it was already too late to save the long hair on the front, so trying to fix the mistake, he chopped off the rest promising that it will be nice despite the shocking length. Unfortunately it was just a promise… The fair poor, chopped off and completely flat, like I would have a half of my usual volume… The hairstylist said that he was sorry, yet its not like that would make my hair grow back faster. The receptionist just kept saying over and over that it is adorable and that it fits my profession, but what does she know about architecture?! She works at a hair salon!



Despite the shockingly terrible service the salon did not offer any recompense, but charge me $50 for the haircut, and to make me feel even worse than I already was, they said that it would have been $85, but they feel bad for me… What?!!! Not only ruined my hair but also did me a Red Cross a favor?! Well, I did not want a discount haircut, I wanted what I asked for, for their usual price and they declared to deliver.



I think that their service was a scandal and I deserved far more than a nonchalance apology. By far the worst salon in Memphis and the worst I have ever went to!!!
