I have been having my dog groomed at Woof's for the past 6 years and he has spend quite a few weekends and another time he spent 2 weeks with them. The have a wonderful boarding facility that is open in Palm Bay and the groomers in Melbourne are awesome. I highly recommend these people. Years ago I had read one very unfortunate, bad review. I can say my dog has been taken care of great whenever he has been in their care.

Our dog entered the facility clean, flea free, with a collar, and happy. He left with a deep cut to the top of his head, hives, fleas, and missing a collar. Our vet bill cost almost as much as the kennel - the dog needed an antibiotic and an antihistamine to fight off possible infection. The vet was very concerned over the kennel's practices. We are waiting until the medicine runs its course before applying another application of flea medicine. The kennel folks told me to give the dog children's Benadryl for the hives, which they claimed to be a reaction to the shampoo. The vet strongly disagreed, and disputes the shampoo reaction because many of the hives were open sores, clearly indicating they were several days old. This also indicates that the dog was groomed while he had hives, which is not a good idea. I hope they clean their grooming equipment before starting on the next dog. A dog died in their care two years ago. Beware of this company.
