Florida Air Academy is a military school offering day and boarding options for young men and women in grades six through 12. The academy offers a wide range of college preparatory academic offerings, including honors, advanced-placement and dual-enrollment courses. Its curriculum comprises subjects, such as English, Spanish, physical education, aerospace science, math, world history, health, compute science, Web design, computer graphics, psychology, sociology, civic law and astronomy. The academy has athletic teams in several sports, including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf, cross country, weight lifting, wrestling, swimming, and track and field. Florida Air Academy is located in Melbourne, Fla. It is approved by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The academy is also a member of the Florida High School Activities Association, Association of Military Schools and Colleges, the International Boy s School Coalition and the National Association of Secondary-School Principals.
