I contacted York repairs on Saturday 06.14.14 and set an appointment for Monday 06.16.14 to have my washer diagnosed and repaired. I was advised my appointment time would be between 10 am and 1 pm. I took off work and waited for the tech to call on Monday as I was advised they would prior to arrival. I received a call from a California exchange at 1 pm on Monday advising me that he tech would need to re-schedule for Wednesday as their vehicle had broken down. I stated that I did not want to re-schedule as I had made arrangements for today and asked what they would be doing for me as far as compensation for my time lost was. They advised hey could do nothing and they were sorry. I then called the local office number as this company is to be located in Ohio. I was transferred to the dispatch manager who could also do nothing for me. I asked why i was not notified prior to the end of my appointment time that they would not be able to come and I was not awarded any answer except for an "I'm sorry". I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to have repairs done on their appliances as they are not able to keep their appointment times nor are they sympathetic to the working class who have to also work around the schedules they are unable to keep.
