Food was great. Menu was limited during pandemic, but quality was top notch

Oh boy, where to begin... This is some of the worst service I've had anywhere in a long time. First, we waited at the hostess station for 15 minutes before anyone seated us, and all the while workers kept walking past us completely ignoring us. It became a game to see how many people would just walk by, and we counted to 13 before the host finally appeared. We were seated and our waiter quickly came to our table for drink orders. He brought bread and oil. When delivering our drunks, he spilled the dipping oil all over the table. Accidents happen so this wouldn't have been an issue, but he only sloppily/hastily wiped it up with a dry napkin -- leaving a sticky, oily mess all over the tabletop. He then brought us a new dish of oil, but didn't bring us any bread! We had to ask for it. Our drinks were empty for quite a while before being refreshed. Our dinners (finally) arrived, and one of our two dinners was wrong. The waiter didn't even notice that the kitchen had made the wrong meal. Throughout the meal, the waiter was hurried and made us feel rushed -- even starting to walk away from our table while we were still talking to him. Our drinks weren't as ordered as well. The waiter was apologetic, but for the COMEDY OF ERRORS that was our experience, I expected to have at least something comp'd...but not. We visited Stephen's twice in the past and had bad service, but were willing to give it another try. This experience, however, was ridiculously bad and we will NOT return. Whoever is managing the front of the house should be fired, and the workers should be provided with customer service training. The only reason my rating has any stars is because the food was fine (so-so, acceptable), and I will say our prime rib spring rolls appetizer was delicious.

We ate there on Saturday night and the food was so good. I will definitely go again.
