Years ago I paid my bill in person and had a conversation with the woman in the office. She asked if I needed a receipt, and I foolishly said no. A few hours later I got a call saying I had not paid. I went back in and argued with that very same woman, her response being "no receipt, nothing I can do". I learned a valuable lesson about payment method and documentation that day. Needless to say I paid again and moved my stuff to another facility immediately. I had paid in person every month for 2 years, but she was able to look me in the face and lie, throwing away the cow for some milk. Unreal.

She was older and obese so I suspect she is deceased by now.

I had been renting a storage unit from Clark St Storage for over a year and when I went to take some things out of the unit ALL of my grandmother's antique furniture was GONE!!! The only things left were some bags of stuffed toys. I made a Police report and I told the receptionist what had happened and she had the attitude of "Oh well, nothing I can do about it". I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I lost a roll top desk over 100 years old, a beautiful "secretary" cabinet that I cherished since I was a child, my deceased mother's dresser, vanity and coffee table, and lots of personal items I can never replace! They never even bothered to come out and look at the unit with me! Seemed very unsympathetic!!
