I was having transmission trouble and showed up without an apt. Ben got me right in to have my car looked at. After working with Ben, turns out the car needs a new transmission, but is covered under warranty by the car maker. There was no charge even though they spent an hour helping me out this morning. Really appreciate how helpful everyone was. I will be returning to this location for future service needs.

Two thumbs up! My husband and I have taken both our cars here for the past three years, and we love them! Very honest, reasonable rates, great work. Mike and Pete will tell you what's necessary and what's not, what's actually worth doing to our '94 Jeep and what it just doesnt need. They're very knowledgable and they do great work! highly recommended. We're moving, and I wish we could take them with us!

On 02/04/15 I had taken my vehicle to be Serviced and Inspected. I was having issues keeping a charge in my battery and I was immediately told that I needed an alternator. Which clearly was not the case I just needed a new battery. On 02/07/15 I was able to pay and pick-up my vehicle. I was told by Pete Larghe the Fleet Sales Advisor that they computer was not able to read for my emissions and that I needed to drive it 100 miles and return back to Midas for my stickers. I did as I was told and returned back to Midas on 02/10/15 and I have informed Midas that I heard a rubbing noise coming from the right side of the vehicle (which is the side Midas had just repaired) I was than told that the noise I am hearing are my struts but my struts were good for at least one year. After that discussion I was told that it had passed inspection at that time. On 02/22/15 I was driving my boyfriend to his doctors appointment at 9AM. I was heading down 81 N and proceeded to merge off to Cameron St (Harrisburg) while going 45mph I had merged into the middle lane (it turns into a 3 lane expressway) and my right passenger tire flew off my vehicle. This could have caused someone their life, mine and others. I pulled over and found my tire 50ft from where the incident took place. I had called AAA to have vehicle towed to Midas. On 2/23/15 I drove past Midas and they already were working on my car without permission. I had called Midas I was told Midas was not responsible and will not fix the damages. One hour later Pete Larghe had called me back and had told me they will fix the issue. Mike the Store Manager assured me the vehicle will be done by the end of 02/23/15 and Midas will call me. I never received a call, I called them 30 minutes prior to closing and I was told the vehicle will be done in 20 minutes. I had went to pick-up my vehicle and Pete Larghe came out with paperwork asked if I wanted him to fix the repairs at charge at that time was also informed I had more damage done to my vehicle from the accident and Midas is not responsible and will not fix the damages and Midas has the right to refuse service to any customer. I did report Midas to the Better Business Borough. I have tried to settle this with the owner. Midas claims they are the victim and keep accusing me of loosing the lug nuts myself. I have all documents and lug nuts. I just wanted my vehicle to be safe to drive and legal. I was sold used parts which was not aware until Midas admitted to doing so to the better business borough and parts I did not need. I asked Midas to fix this and they will only fix what they want to.



I am trying to set an example. I am not looking for a easy way out. Believe me it is a headache. I just want what is right. I am simply shining light on what has happened to me and I want to prevent this happening to others and possibly safe a life. I have contacted Better Business Boro. Midas is not willing to cooperate, they are giving misleading information and I am appalled by their behavior.



I am a victim and not only did Midas accuse me of loosing my lug nuts but I have been charged parts that are used and I was also charged parts I did not need. It is not right for companies to do this. I think we need to recognize this. It is a problem.

DON'T GO!!!!!! especially if your a woman. always get a second opinion. told me i needed a new muffler. No i didn't. i needed a new flange to hold the muffler onto the exhaust system.

This place is great. They do their best to assist us in keeping the cars on the road. it's all about the maintenance in order to prevent or lessen the repair costs. They can help in both of those areas.
