Terrible attorney. We hired him for a minor juvenile offense. After five months he had done absolutely nothing. Not filed a single motion and not been on time to court even once. We fired him and got a real attorney who addressed things very quickly.

This is what you will read when you visit their website:

"No one wants to ever be involved in a legal battle or need a lawyer, but it is nice to know that if you do need a skilled lawyer, the attorneys at Gibbs Nolte Robison Rose PLLC have nearly 50 years of combined experience to help with your legal issues."

We need help collecting a debt so we met with one of the principals who took our money and said he could help us. When it seemed the case was going to be difficult, he determined his “workload had increased dramatically and (he was) having difficulty working on (his) larger cases” .

So after only taking the initial step to collect our debt, he (to use his exact words) "declined to move forward". We had only just begun and he told us the $500 we paid would get us to at lest the point where the debtor was served!

He felt no remorse on keeping the retainer we paid - claiming he had put in well over 3 hours and we had only paid him for two.

Perhaps we dodged a bullet here because all he did was mail a form letter and if it took him over 3 hours to do that, I can only imagine what he would have charged us to actually represent us.

This firm, in our opinion will willing take your money, then drop your case when it becomes inconvenient.

Ours was a truly bad experience and we would recommend you do not use them.

Unfortunately, not every wrong has a cost effective legal remedy. In this situation, it was agreed at the beginning that two hours of work would be purchased to begin the collection process and recover the debt. The agreement was that after the two hours and initial work, if no progress was made, the cost/benefit would be reviewed. The cost/benefit was discussed with the spouse of Elsie459 ("Elsie" was never at any of the face-to-face meetings) and it was determined that additional work and cost would very likely not get a recovery of the money loaned. Specific instructions were given to the spouse of "Elsie459" on how to proceed in a Justice Court at a fraction of the legal cost. We are committed to representation of our clients and honesty in informing you about your chances for legal success in your case.
