We have been doing business with North Star Plumbing for years. They are a perfect example of a company that operates with integrity. They communicate everything transparently, they are clean and respectful, and they are thorough. I don't even bother calling around anymore for prices. They are the best value for my dollar.

The reason I am rating this company average is only because of the cost. The plumber did a good job as far as I can tell. I was charged $189 extra because my water heater was in the attic upstairs(not on first floor). I was charged an additional $115 on top of the $45 permit fee for whatever labor is involved on their part for helping with the city permit? That seemed ridiculous to me but maybe this is standard. But you might ask regarding these fees before you decide on a plumber.

The plumber was here on time, very knowledgable, and did a great job with all the repairs we needed. Also the price was very reasonable.

We did not have any problems with anyone or anything that North Star Plumbing has worked on. We had several issues, they arrived in the time frame that was set and the prices were reasonable. They did a great job for us.

The company that remodeled my bathroom subcontracted the plumbing to North Star. They didn't install a gasket for the bath tub drain which lead to leaking onto the condo unit beneath mine. It took us a few days to find out who had done the plumbing so we called somebody else to fix it. When we pointed out their mistake, North Star was complete unsympathetic and unwilling to pay for the damage their mistake had caused. I highly do not recommend them.
