Provided by YP.comIn response to "not worth the hassle" My name is John Fanlon owner of Carpets Cheeper. First let me apologize. Regrettably I had an employee that acted way out of protocol for what I expect from anyone that represents my company. He was going through tough times as his wife of many years was dying from cancer. I let that salesman go and now do all the sales for the company. One bad review shouldn't define us as a company. We do business with honesty and integrity, and will never ever bother anyone to buy anything. My company was built on repeat and referral business. If you get the chance to meet me you will find this to be 100% true. As for the couple involved i would have loved to speak with them directly but never got the chance. .

Provided by YP.comCarpets Cheeper is a good place to go for any flooring work. They were very nice, and did a great installation. They have good prices, too. They don't waste money on fancy showrooms or anything. From what I can tell, they are simply easy going guys with a lot of experience installing and selling flooring. I'd recommend them to anyone. There was an earlier reviewer who had a bad experience, but I think this place has new owners now. I also noticed that the business name is wrong in this directory. The name really should have an "S" at the end of the first word, just as I spelled. If you saw their logo, you'd understand the spelling of the second word. I heard they just put up a new website, too. I found it at www.carpetscheeper.com

Provided by YP.comNo service or product is worth putting up with a complete jerk in terms of salespeople. Their salesman was not only ignorant and arrogant, he was rude, judgemental and horrible to work with. He borderline "stalked" us with phone calls and even stopped by our home REPEATEDLY and unannounced AFTER we said we were no longer moving forward with new flooring. He came by the house to try and convince us to go with his product and would repeatedly ring the doorbell. One time, he even went so far as to walk in my backyard and look in my window! Creepy. Don't use these people. There's plenty of flooring companies out there where you don't have to put up with this sort of "harrassment." Oh - he did all this knowing full well that we had two babies at home...and still rang the doorbell incessantly causing the dog to bark and wake up the children. A huge "no-no" among we stay-at-home mommies!
