Camp Bow Wow is run very efficiently. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about and loves each and every animal. It's great that they are keeping up with technology and have an app where you can make a reservation as well as watch your fur baby play during the day.

When Wesley was a puppy we set out to find a place where we could board him when we left town. We checked out the traditional kennels, where your dog sits in a pen all day and you can pay extra for walks, play time, etc. But when we discovered Camp Bow Wow, we knew this was the place!

What really interested me as a dog owner is that having your dog play with others all day socializes him/her with other dogs while they play pretty much all day. I confess, I was initially a nervous dog owner (how are they REALLY treating my dog?), but I loved the camper cams...the highly addictive opportunity to watch your dog play all day!

Our dog gets separation anxiety when we leave him (so we have to kennel him at home). But when he's at Camp Bow Wow, he's having so much fun, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even notice that we're not there...it gives me tremendous peace of mind to know that he's being cared for exactly how I care for him at home.

The ONLY downside to this place is that if he's in the car and we're within a mile of the place, he goes absolutely bonkers...he LOVES Camp Bow Wow!

My 2 pup's love coming here during my busy work schedule. They come home tired and happy. Whenever we get in the car to go, they know where we are headed once we turn down the main highway they are located on. Love it, and its only a few miles from my home.

Kenzie loves Camp Bow Wow. Therefore, I love Camp Bow Wow. She always comes home tired from a day of fun. They also have cameras set up so you can watch your little, or big, camper from home.

Can't say enough great thing's about Camp Bow Wow. Our dog Zelda has been going there for two years now and loves it. She always comes home tired and the next day she is ready to go back. Camp Bow Wow has great services for any size dog and affordable prices. We had an overnight stay for Zelda and she did great.

We love Camp Bow Wow in McHenry. Our puppy has been there for day care and a bath. My son and I went without our puppy and without an appointment just to get pricing, and the staff spent a half hour with us. They showed us all around and answered all our questions. This is our sons first dog and he was very nervous having to “leave him with strangers”, but after spending just a half hour with them it was clear our pup would be in great hands. I really like that I can go to their website or use the app on my iPhone and see our puppy playing with the other dogs, and getting love from the staff members supervising them. We love that he can get a bath there too. Picking him up clean and wore out from playing all day is great!

We took our boy Offenhauser there for boarding...and we were so pleased with how everything went, it was great to check in on him playing with other dogs. We have used their facility 3 times now and we love it. They are always available in a pinch!! Great place

very unprofessional boarding facility

I dropped my two dogs off on a friday, a mini shelty and an australian sheppard. I paid for the luxury sweet for the twenty four hour access to the web cam. we were unable to see the dogs on our web cam while on vacation after 7 pm. while on vacation, called in to find out how dogs were doing was told they put our 60 pound sheppard in with the small dogs and low and behold out big dog scuffold with a little dog and i owed a 93 dollar vet bill. when i picked up the dogs, the employees did not know about 24 hour web access (advertised and the whole reason i paid the extra for the lusury sweet) so they called the owner (who was there when i checked in my two dogs) and she said that we had to have a special code to view the dogs 24 hours, she did say she was sorry, but no offer of any restitution for not explaining what we needed to do as nothing they have (literature, website, employees) says anything about having to have a special code. so i paid extra to view my dogs, did not recieve or was even told i needed special instructions to do so, and had to pay a vet bill because they put my big dog in with the little ones. there are alot of other boarding facilities in mchenry, we are going back to lucky e kennels.
