Dr. William Pressly opened Pressly Animal Hospital in July 2011. While specializing in orthopedic medicine, Dr. Pressly and staff are also very interested in preventative and wellness care. In addition, PAH works with many area animal rescue groups to help ensure that all homeless animals are healthy and treated so they can find their furever homes.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Pressly. He is absolutey WONDERFUL!! He and his staff are warm, compassionate and kind. They were all just fantastic with my dog Sawyer. I brought Sawyer in because he had been throwing up and looking very depressed. After X-Rays, Dr. Pressly discovered that there was a foreign object in his belly that required surgery to be removed (ended up being remnants of a tennis ball). He was extremely thorough with his explanation of everything and even allowed me to be with Sawyer as he came out of his anesthesia. I will never take Sawyer or my other animals to any other Vet. Dr. Pressly saved my Sawyer's life and I'll forever be grateful! Dr. Pressly is the BEST!

Ask about charges ahead of time

Started taking our dog here last year after rescuing him from the SPCA and adoption fees paid for us to bring him here. They seem knowledgeable enough, but be sure to ask to be told exactly what you will be paying for up front because I nearly always end up with unexpected charges on the final bill. This has happened several times and I feel guarded every time I go there now. Plan to try Banfield next.

No care

This clinic does NOT care about your animals. We rescued a heartworm positive cane corso. We took him in for his treatment and he called us saying the dog would be neutered before he left when we called back to say we wanted to wait until he recovered from treatment he said no I already did it (he did a surgery without consent). He said it was due to his breed which is not his business. We picked him up and he said he had been chewing his incision and we should buy an ecollar which we did. When we got home we noticed he was peeing blood and his staples were hanging out, the incision was torn. This was of course Saturday afternoon. Luckily we found a vet to call in antibiotics. This dog cried all night and then they said Monday he wasn't in any pain! 2 weeks later after he called 5 times asking us to bring him for a recheck (he had been going to another vet) we took him in and he said the dog was sick and needed. $500 worth of work. He flipped when we said he just came from another clinic. We got blood work done at another clinic to be sure and all was fine. He asked us to sign something saying we would never talk about this but we of course said no. Thanks to Baxter vet he is now doing great. I would NEVER trust these people with my animals!!!

The staff at PAH truly care about your pets. They will give you complete and concise answers to questions you may have and they never try to sell you something you don't need, or operate when unnecessary! I highly recommend Pressly Animal Hospital! They love your animals ALMOST as much as you do!
