I visited this nursing home for my grandmother. I would not recommend this home to anyone I loved. The staff was harsh, inappropriate, and was too busy to take me on a tour of the place. I met the owner, "Ms. J", who seemed to care more about getting a 2 month check in advance for placement of my grandmother, than showing me around. I noticed a legal document on the window displaying a bankruptcy status. Furthermore, I went online to read the dept of health survey and found that they hired people without doing background checks, staff not being educated or inserviced, and people breaking down with bed sores.

The admission person, "Jasn" was rude, nasty and I would not leave my grandmom there, especially pay for it!

I since sent grandmom to a nursing home in Woodbury. A beautiful place it is.

I do not recommend this Nursing Facility if you love your parents or grandparents!! The facility is a mess. Citations previously for multiple deficiencies, including injecting excessive doses of Haldol to keep a patient quiet. Furthermore, I highly recommend you read and investigate any Nursing Home in which you intend to admit your family member into. Survey results can be seen online at the NYS DOH website.

And, the facility is currently in bankruptcy status, which is unresolved since 2008.
