Horrible customer service! The worst by far that I have received since moving to OH. My husband picked up our pizza from this Donato's. It should have been done by the time he got there, but he still had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the pizza. While waiting he got to hear the employees talking badly about and laughing at the customers eating in the restaurant and picking up pizzas. Once our pizza was FINALLY done, it was so burnt it had black cheese and crust. The Donato's employee argued with my husband that it was not burnt and wouldn't make him a new pizza! He got fed up with arguing and came home. I saw the burnt pizza and knew that my kids would not eat black pizza so I called and was told that they would make me a new one, but I had to bring the pizza back up to the store. So I pointed out that besides the fact that this Donato's was a 15 minute drive from my house, now I had 3 very hungry young children at home and I was supposed to waste more of my time and gas on a situation Donato's employees should have handled when my husband was just there! Needless to say, the manager did not care, he told me that he would not give me another pizza unless I drove back up to the store so I wasted my time and gas to drive back to the store. The manager said it would take 10 minutes to make another pizza so it should have been done when I got there. It was not. I had to wait for another 5 minutes before the manager even came out and when he did, he grabbed the pizza, said, "It's not burnt." then turned around and walked away, saying, "There's another one in the oven." There was no apology, no discount, nothing. The manager disappeared after that. And I still had to wait another 10 minutes for the pizza to come out of the oven. I see why my husband got fed up and left with a burnt pizza. When I finally got home with the new pizza, we decided to just throw it away. Since the level of maturity and customer service of these Donaota's employees was so low, we didn't trust that the new pizza didn't have spit or some other bodily fluid on it. So we just threw it away instead of feeding who knows what to our children.
