Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Satish Kumar Sondhi has practiced at Mason City Clinic since 1991 and is Medical Director of the GI Lab, as well as holding appointments at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Dr. Sondhi received his bachelors degree with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago before graduating with his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He then completed residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Sondhis research work has been published in medical journals, and he remains involved in the medical community through membership in the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
