Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. James T. Reeder, Jr. has over 30 years of practice experience and has provided state-of-the-art care at Mason City Clinic since 1999. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences and on the Medical Advisory Board at Hamilton College. Dr. Reeder first received a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biology from Emporia State University, before graduating with his Doctorate degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postgraduate training included a rotating internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Osteopathic Hospital of Wichita, followed by a fellowship in Cardiology at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he gained specialized knowledge that he applies to his practice today. Throughout his extensive experience, Dr. Reeder has been the recipient of several fellowship grants, and has held many appointments within local hospitals and facilities. He is involved with several professional organizations, including as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and as a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association.
