Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Timothy L. Mulholland has provided comprehensive urology care to patients at Mason City Clinic since 2004. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa Healthcare and President of the Medical Staff at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. He previously served on the Mason City Clinic Board of Directors. Dr. Mulholland earned a Bachelors degree in Biology with distinction and honor from the University of Iowa, and then continued on to graduate with his medical degree from the UI College of Medicine, where he received the Alcock Senior Medical Student Award in Urology. After graduating, Dr. Mulholland completed residency training in General Surgery and Urology at William Beaumont Hospital. Dedicated to furthering his training, Dr. Mulholland also completed a fellowship in Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He helped create Mercy North Iowa Robotic Surgery program and serves as director of Robotics. In order to continually provide patients with the most advanced treatments available, Dr. Mulholland remains actively involved in the medical community as a member of several professional organizations, including: American Urology Association American Association of Clinical Urologists Iowa Urological Society Iowa Oncology Research Association Iowa Medical Society Dr. Mulholland has also contributed to numerous publications, presentations and research abstracts throughout his practice training and tenure, as well as served as a faculty member or speaker at CMS courses and Conferences across the country. He is also actively involved in the local sports and church communities.
