Dr. Michael J. Sarik is a board-certified physician specializing in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Mason City Clinic since 2005. Dr. Sarik first completed a Bachelors degree in Biology from Bucknell University, before graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postgraduate training included a rotating internship at Metro Health Center, followed by residency training in Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dedicated to furthering his training, Dr. Sarik also completed fellowship training in Cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Mercy Catholic Medical Center, and in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sarik has extensive experience in cardiology, and has practiced at many other facilities across the country before joining our team in Mason City. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, and has previously served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
