I would definitely recommend Garner Bros Smoky View Auto Parts to anyone. Their prices have always been lower than the other stores in the area. If part needed not in the store, always there by next day, if not sooner. Counter personnel very knowledgeable and will try to save you money.

PS. The review about the corvette engine pertains to the business next door which is Smoky View Machine Shop, NOT GARNER BROS SMOKY VIEW AUTO PARTS.

I wish we would have read all of these reviews and stayed away! This place is nothing but a "headache". The icing on the cake is that they have no idea of the meaning, "customer" service!!..........

Bad bad bad!!! Warning!!!

They do good work and the price u can't beat it but it takes forever for them to get ur work done one star for good work but poor ratting on getting work done on time he has an engine of mine three months I could have built it 50 times over so if u ant in a hurry to get things done then go to Smokey view machine shop

If you want to be lied to time and time again this is the shop for you. If he says he (the owner) will get you what you need by a date add two weeks to it. And that's if you bug him. He lies so much it is comical. He can’t keep the lies straight. I have NEVER received my parts on time in the past 10 years. I don’t understand how he stays in business. I really don’t.

Very Very Very unhappy. Took in a motor already out of a work truck. Was told it would be completed in 2-3 weeks at best but should be sooner. I had already put on New lifters, Rocker Arms, Push Rods, Valve Stems, with another mechanic. Again let me remind you, it was brought to them already removed from the truck. Took 4 months, would not return phone calls or give updates for sometimes couple weeks at a time. Then every time we did speak, was always excuses. After all of that, then told me it would be $1400.00 wow with one year limited warranty and if it did fail I would have to bring it to them and he would work on it in his spare time. What a joke. Took him 4 months with it out of the truck. I wound up being able to buy a crate motor from O'Reillys for just under 1500.00 with a 3 ur unlimited millage warranty, parts and labor. This guy is a joke. Should have read reviews first. Learned a hard lesson. Do your homework.

Pressed the bearings in when everyone else said that it couldn't be done! These guys know what they are doing...and didn't charge me an arm and a leg!!!

Extremely unorganized! Will never have parts when promised.
