I booked (and paid for in advance) the combination City Tour and Airboat Tour online. I also checked the confirmation email, and called the next day to confirm the reservation. We were supposed to be picked up at our hotel between 9:30 and 10:00 am to begin the City Tour. We were driving in early that morning and ran into traffic, so I called to let them know we may be a little late. They said fine, would just have the driver pick us up last, and that he would call on my cell phone when he got close to us. We arrived at 9:35 and waited just inside the lobby at our hotel. When no one had arrived by 10:30 I called again and was told that we were supposed to have been standing outside, the driver came by at 9:52 and tried to call, but then left when he couldn't reach us. They dialed the wrong number, not either of the numbers that I had given them, and were listed correctly on the confirmation email.



So I said fine, we're only 30 minutes late, just tell me where to meet the driver and we'll get there on our own. Instead, I was told that the tour couldn't be "interrupted" by us, that I had to reschedule, and that my tour would not be refunded despite the fact that missing the bus was NOT MY FAULT. (Couldn't reschedule because the other times conflicted with other things I already had planned, and paid for) I had to argue with seemingly every person there for more than 30 minutes before I finally convinced someone to just tell me where to meet the bus. And the time they gave me was still another hour from then. So we got to participate in 1 hour of a 3 hour tour, when we could have been on 2.5 hours of it if anyone there had just been a little bit reasonable.



We got to do the Katrina portion of the City Tour, and that was interesting. And the Swamp/Airboat tour was fun. BUT try to get there on your own if possible (30 minutes drive from NO). Wasted several hours of my life on that bus driving around picking up/dropping off people all over the place - in the morning, in between tours, and after the tour. Not to mention that the combination tour lasts from 9:30 am until about 6:00 pm with NO LUNCH break. And the bus on the way back was so hot I thought I was going to pass out.



There are plenty of other tour companies to choose from. Avoid these idiots!
