After reading the only other review, it compelled me to leave a review about my experiences. I have been seeing Anjam now for 3 or 4 years, and I've never had a bad experience. I wait way too long in between trims (my own fault), and really only go in when I need full or partial highlights done. Anjam does a great job on my highlights every time, and gives me exactly what I ask for. I have dark hair, so I like getting very light blonde highlights, and Anjam has never disappointed me. What I find remarkable about the other review is how unsatisfied she was, yet it doesn't sound like she allowed the salon a chance to make things right. What I find incredible about my visits to Anjam is that she is so highly requested by so many people. Because I get foil highlights and deep conditioning, I'm usually there a few hours as I have pretty long, thick hair. While I'm there 3 or so hours, numerous people come in and request Anjam; and it's both men and women. I work at a pretty well known local business, and I know of at least 2 other people that consistently ask for Anj when getting highlights done. I have about 5 coworkers that go to this salon on a regular basis, and have been repeat customers for 5+ years. Again, I just wanted to write a review based on my experiences, in hopes it helps someone that's new to the area and looking for a great place to go get their hair done.

I cant speak for the whole shop, but Anjam is the worst. She boasts on and on about have fantastic she is and how you are going to be so greatful that you landed in her chair. Yet she has no skill as a hair stylist. My bangs were cut entirely way too short, even after repeated requests that they fall Below my eyebrow. I went for a trim and instead walked out looking like I got in a fight with a law mower. I wear very high powered lenses (glasses) and have to take them off for the hair cut. I am legally blind without my lenses so all I could see in the mirror was a shadow. She pointed out all my flaws - my grey roots, my over due waxing on my eyebrows, and never once heard me say A TRIM ONLY. I almost wonder if a fullly shaved head would look any worse than what she did to me. NEVER AGAIN will I trust Hair Cuttery for allowing this woman to work there and represent a name that I had trusted for over 40 years.
