This family-style Italian restaurant located near Tangerine and Thornydale is big and usually bustling, especially on weekends. It has two main dining areas, one side for family dining, and the bar side has more of a bistro/local pub atmosphere. Then there's a patio area with lots of comfortable seating and a casual "let's hang out and have a drink and appetizers" atmosphere. The pizza is tasty -- we prefer the thin crust because we like less bread. Toppings are generous. The chicken wings are yummy. The lasagna is a family recipe and boy is it a lot. The formula for the menu seems to be "more of everything" -- more cheese, meat, sauce. Overall, we love the "come as you are" atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is really good and the prices are pretty darn good, too.
