They grabbed my card off the table without asking and added a 15$ gratuity which I didn’t know about until they already charged my card. I had to look hard to find a notice posted that they automatically add a tip for 6 or more people on your ticket. It’s on a small notice on the wall at the cash register. This is a buffet type of place. The waitress barely does anything and I am ticked hey added this without my knowledge, especially in the type of place. And a notice at the cash register does not inform you of the gratuity.

Fast service! Great food! Been quite a few times, NEVER displeased!

I think this is a great fast-food type Chinese place. You get to go through a "buffet" style line and pick out all your uncooked meat and veggies, then add your own combo of sauce and take it to the grill where you watch them cook it! Its awesome to be able to make a dish that has exactly what you want it in - beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, mushrooms, sprouts, carrots, soy sauce, garlic, whatever you can think of they have it for you to choose!

My family and I have been regular customers at Ton's Mongolian in Mansfield for well over

four years. The staff is very pleasant and courteous, the service is great and of course the food is delicious.



UPDATE:

We've returned to Ton's and found a complete turnaround in terms of cleanliness and sanitary conditions.

I can now retract my earlier review and once again recommend Ton's Mongolian to any and all hungry families

who like Mongolian food.

User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars by Not Happy at Ton's 04/21/2008 Food has always been good... Service is terrible!!! Our waitress had an attitude problem. We ended up leaving before we were finished. I took my complaint to the manager and asked to check out early. Our waitress was actually yelling up to the front (from the back of the restaurant)! Of course, I couldn't understand what she was saying because she wouldn't say it in English. I have never been treated this way at any restaurant. Needless to say, we won't be going back. I have had much better luck with the locations on Cooper St. in Arlington or Carrier in Grand Prairie.

First time eating there and was impressed. Very clean, good service and food...NO COCA COLA PRODUCTS...ONLY PEPSI...

We weren't able to get refills on drinks. Had a lot of other people's food mixed with ours. Like shrimp & mushrooms that some could be allergic to. There were only 30 people eating and we saw our waitress only 3 times. I would recommend going to the one on Green Oaks.
