They were great the first time, but not the second time. They called me a liar and they were very very rude to me when I asked them why the price was different than what they told me when I dropped my pants off. They also told me they did accept discover card when I dropped my pants off. When I went back a week later to pick the pants up, and pay, they told me they did not and will not accept discover card at all. And the price was double what they originally told me. When I asked them why and told them what they had told me they called me a liar. They will never get my business again. I do not recommend this place they're very very rude and condescending people

Lucy's alterations is the best alterations store in town! They are so personable & friendly!! They do exactly what you need & get it done in a timely matter. I have gone there for years for every day clothes, cheerleading uniforms, and now for my wedding. Very cheap as well!

I brought in a $150 floor legnth dress from David's Bridal and asked for it to be altered to just below the knee. What I got back is so short that it must be worn as a shirt! They offered to reattach the material, but since it's jersey, it will pull and have an obvious seam where there shouldn't be one. The only other way they offered to remedy the situation is to not charge for the $12 decimation of my dress. Never mind replacing it. I will NEVER go back and will give a negative review wherever possible.

I have lived in Mansfield for over 17 years and this was one of the only places for alternations at the time. Several other businesses that do alterations have opened since then, but she still is the best and one of the cheapest. She does lots of work on police, fire, cheerleading uniforms as well as prom, wedding and bridesmaids' gowns.
