In over 35 years of such moving experiences beginning in Chicago, IL in 1981, this is the worst furniture move we ever had. We had two very expensive pieces of furniture seriously damaged - one due to poor packing/unpacking (approximately $250 damage) and one due to improper setup of the two-piece arrangement upon delivery of the furniture (approximately $1,000 damage to the furniture and our Brazilian cherry wood floor). In addition, one relatively expensive floor lamp that matched another was missing and never shipped back to us (approximately $350 value).

Awful service! Don't be fooled by the professionalism when getting an estimate, as soon as it is moving day, they do their thing and if it isn't to your liking than that's just too bad. Damaged property, scratched furniture, broken belongings, and rude customer service. I've had movers before and thought I asked a lot of them, but I had no idea how bad it could get.
