I boarded my gelding here for two years. From the moment he arrived from Washington state, Bruce and Susan took excellent care of him. This is a great facility with a lighted arena and two round pens and GREAT trail riding access right from the property. I loved the time I spent at Rocking B. There were always people to ride with and everyone I met and interacted with were really friendly and welcoming. My gelding received great care and attention and Bruce and Susan were always happy to help me with anything and were readily available when I needed them. They have great farrier and vet contacts that make regular visits to the facility and I always knew my boy was being taken care of. I purchased a home that has room to keep my gelding with me now and leaving was definitely bittersweet! I would absolutely recommend Rocking B Stables to anyone looking for a safe and friendly environment for their equines, complete with a beautiful facility! Thank you!

Wonderful horse stable! I have boarded my horse at Rocking B Stables for 5 years and it is a great stable. The owners take great care of your horse and feed quality feeds and hay. The waterers are always clean and well maintained so the horses always have access to clean water. I love the trails and the arena and round pen are great.

Really a bad experience with this stables with a judgmental owner. I went a met with the owner and the stables looked good. The "talk" sounded good too. We agreed I would take lessons and from there get help finding and buying a horse that i would board there. The owner said the instructor would call. After not getting a call in a few days and contacting them again i was assured they would talk to the trainer and that I should expect a call. In the end i followed up 3 times for the call that never came.

Finally, after a few weeks i went back to the stables and spoke with the owner directly. I asked if maybe my tattoos had caused them to take a dislike to me. He looked me straight in the eyes and assured me that they were not putting me off and that the instructor would definitely call me. Well, it's been 2 months now and of course, no call. I can't say it was the tattoos but i do know that i was only there for 5 minutes initially and that i didn't do anything to offend or give reason for him to dislike me. In fact, our conversation was pleasant and positive. I can only assume that judgment was passed based on a physical assessment and that I didn't meet their standards. Sounds pretty arrogant to me even though the owner implied it was the English riders that were arrogant. Bottom line, I would not wast my time. Obviously this is the kind of place that unfairly passes judgement and that sounds pretty darned unfriendly to me!

Disrespectful owners who are not knowledgeable about horses. They barely give hay, they feed cheap feed. On several occasions I have gone out there and my horse had NO water. When you try to talk to them about the care of your horse they become aggressive and argumentative. They seemed nice and trustworthy when I went for my initial tour however talking to other borders you learn that is only temporary. Horse paddocks are cleaned whenever they get around to it.There are several random people who feed and clean stalls and each one of the helpers will tell you something different as to when they are fed or when the stalls are cleaned. If your horse is hurt they won't call you but that also has to do with the fact they don't check on your horse. There was a horse that had a virus that was contagious and did not send out notices or even warn other boarders. I found out through the vet who happened to be there at the same time I was. They will be outside at the stables and not even speak to you. I have seen them dangerously rig a BROKEN saddle to a horse and tell a rider "yeah it's safe". It is only a full board facility and their reason is because they had boarders in the past that were paying just stall fee that didn't take care of their horses. I find that amusing because since the day I have been there , I have had to go out there EVERY DAY just to have piece of mind that my horse was fed , had hay , water and that her stall was cleaned. For the amount they charge you would expect a level of professionalism , compassion and knowledge and I am sorry to say they just don't have any of these qualities. I would not recommend this place. Beware!!

The owners of this place hav...

The owners of this place have no concept on running a boarding facility let alone how to take care of horses or any type of farm animals. The facility itself is well built with some good pens, round pen, an arena and walker. But the owners could careless about your horse i witnessed the owner trying to load a horse into a trailer with a tractor, the bucket faceing down to push the poor horse in. They also had a incident where their own dog attacked a boarders horse, so no dont board at Rockin B.
