About Excel Academy The Excel Academy of New York was founded by three parents who feel that the education of all children is crucial to their success in life. Dr. Chris Huang was the education director and in charge of overall curricula. Dr. Huang has two Bachelor of Science degrees ( in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Aeronautics & Astronautics Engineering ) from MIT, a Ph.D. from Princeton University, and an MBA from CW Post College of Long Island University. Dr. Huang is the MIT interviewer for several high schools in Nassau County and has given several seminars on college admission and the interview process. Mrs. Joy Chiang is office manager in charge of parent relations. Joy is known for her knowledge of education systems and involvement in extracurricular programs. Mrs. Nina Liu was co-office manager in charge of finances. Nina has taught in Tzu-Zhi Chinese School. The staff at Excel Academy is here to serve you and help you to match the programs offered at the Excel Academy against your children's abilities.
