Called 1st Call Appliance based on the two reviews that were posted. Although the repairman was very pleasant, professional and seemed to be knowledgable, he improperly diagnosed our dryer problem. The repairman said we had a bad motor. Without the motor running he could not tell if the computer board was also bad. When he left, my husband took the motor to the local appliance parts store to have the motor bench tested. The motor was fine. The appliance parts store was surprised that the repairman would not have done the simple bench test. The problem with our dryer was not the motor but the computer board. Had we listened to the repairman we would have spent money to replace the motor for no reason and still not had a dryer that worked. My husband ordered a new computer board from ebay installed it and our dryer works fine now.

I called the "factory authorized" repair service, and sears and couldn't get an appaointment for a week. !st call was there in 24 hours and fixed my defrosting refrigerator freezer and at a very reasonable price. The others said they would give me an estimate and it may be another week to have the right part. Call 1st call first!!
