They constantly complain about being overcrowded with animals but when you try to adopt or help, they take forever to evaluate you and they never communicate with you. I thought you run a rescue to try and save dogs... not drag out their time from being with a family. Even the person that runs the Facebook page doesn't know what is going on with other volunteers and employees. I have fostered, adopted, and transported for several rescues and humane societies. This is by far the most unorganized and least caring.

While the Coffee County Humane Society recently reorganized this year - they have started to do more than has ever been done before. Low income pet food,fostering, adoptions, low income spay/neuter, website, adoption days, online merchandise store and a couple of fund raisers - all seem to be well run. What a godsend - we really needed a functional Humane Society in Coffee County TN.
