Established in 1983, Manchester Community Music School is a nonprofit organization that provides instruction and performance opportunities for students of various ages. The school enrolls more than 1,200 students from several communities in New Hampshire. Manchester Community Music School is a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts. It provides private music lessons and coordinates early childhood programs. The school maintains an advanced music technology and recording studio where students are taught various recording techniques, including electronic music, mixing and podcasting. Manchester Community Music School also conducts jazz lessons and provides music therapy services.
