This was my first experience with pet cremation. Ryan was a true professional, and very compassionate. He talked to our 16 year old about losing the dog he grew up with. I was very happy he took the time to make a kid feel better on a tough day. He also gave him a gift which warmed his heart. I can not say enough about the superb treatment we received.

I had never had a pet die before, so when my childhood cat Tina passed away from old age, I was not only devastated but I had no clue what to do. I immediately started researching cremation & found Riverbend. The facility itself is tiny, but clean & nice. The staff were extremely nice too. I was able to pick out an urn for a extra $40 (the cremation itself was $150), but you have the option of just having the remains placed in a nice floral tin which doesn't cost extra. I asked to have a private cremation which took place in a nice viewing room where I was able to see Tina for one last time & say my final goodbye. I then sat in the viewing room for about 1 hour until the process was done. When it was all done I got Tina back in her urn with a certificate of her cremation, a receipt, & even a personal card showing their sympathy for my loss which I thought was very classy of them & I appreciated it a lot. I highly recommend Riverbend for any pet owner thinking about cremation.
