I have always considered myself a dog person. I've dog sat for years, loved dogs for years. The knowledge each and every trainer has about dogs has changed my abilities with dogs and my dog. The trainers care about each animal. They guide each owner to communicate training their dog. The are serious professionals.
When boarding your animal they watch them very carefully. They are very aware of the different personalities of dogs and who should be matched together. They can about the health of the dog totally.
This place opened a whole new perspective to me for which I am very grateful.

I'm sorry I trusted my dog with these people. After I picked him up, he now has a fear of men. It eats at me when I think about the things that happened in this kennel. He was such a friendly boy and now he is terrified when men try to pet him. This place is run by menopausal, rude women. I figured they take their jobs seriously and the place is super clean. Well, just be careful, and for gods sake read the fine print on your contract before you sign. It's not what you think. Find an alternative if you love your dog!

Kindness and respect for every animal. That philosophy guides how everyone at What A Good Dog works, thinks and performs. It is the basic principle that has driven the way in which we've cared for, socialized with and trained more than 30,000 dogs over the past 30 years. Your feedback is important to us, for we are absolutely committed to working with you to create the perfect experience for your pet. The growth of our business, the volume of repeat customers and the overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth that we've earned year after year make it clear: we are very good at understanding and respecting what your pet needs. To continue to earn your trust and confidence, we know we must never stop working to satisfy you. So should we ever fail to measure up to your expectations, please tell us. It is our mission to give every dog and owner who visit us their best possible experience.

OK, I can't really speak for how they treat dogs, but let's just say I'm not sure they're exactly people people. I had a rather bizarre experience recently that would prevent me from using them, unfortunately, since I'm looking for a local groomer/daycare. I love everything dogs and work close by and noticed that they frequently have their dogs outside during training or exercise sessions. So, I thought I would enjoy my lunch while watching the dogs... a nice respite from a stressful job and a chance to check out how they treat them. Apparently a bad idea, as an employee charged my car and asked rudely if she could "help" me. (In other words, "Get the F outta here!" I actually wondered, since they don't really have any signage indicating what they are, if maybe it was a refuge for dogs whose parents were in a divorce situation with custody issues and they were afraid I was there to kidnap someone.) Needless to say, I slunk guiltily away (although I'm not sure why) and won't be using them to groom or babysit our dogs anytime soon. In fairness, the dogs looked pretty happy, and you can feel safe knowing that if any curious onlookers stop by to check out the place, they'll be promptly chased away. (And, no, btw, I don't look all that threatening!)
