After graduation in 1981 Keith Walsh, President of Adirondack Audiology Associates, worked three years at Sunmount DDSO for severely mentally and physically handicapped. The next three years he designed, implemented and worked the dept. of audiology for CVPH Hospital in Plattsburgh NY. In Jan. of 1987 he launched Adirondack Audiology Associates, providing all the audiology services at seven locations. Dr. Lori Mathieu joined the practice in 1990, working primarily in the Plattsburgh office. Two years later Dr. Karen Wolff joined the practice, working primarily in the Saranac Lake office. In 2000 Brenda Cook joined the practice, serving the Malone office. Besides our regular office practices, we perform audiological services off-site for many industries including nursing homes, intermediate care facilities and federal and state penitentiaries. We have also participated in a church organized group in 7 medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic where we donated audiological services and medical supplies to patients in need to help improve their quality of life through better hearing. Over the past two decades most of the services provided at the six locations were for hearing dysfunction and rehabilitation. In recent years the practice has expanded to include the highest standard of diagnostics and rehabilitation for balance dysfunction.
