I will rate this company only on professionalism and promptness due to the fact that they never showed up for me to rate them on their expertise (I wish we could give 0 stars).

I called looking for a plumber and he said that he could come that afternoon which I said was fine. I explained the problem and that I was out of state and was getting the problem repaired for a renter. At about that time his phone started breaking up a little and when I told him he started trying to fix it but it wasn't getting better then I guess he hung up. I tried calling back with no answer. Then I saw where he had texted me asking for the address. I texted it to him with the renter's phone #. I asked him to contact her when he knew about what time he was coming and I would like an estimate before the repair was done. I also texted the directions to him.

I hadn't heard anything by mid afternoon and neither had the renter so I had her try calling him. Later the renter let me know that she had tried calling and leaving messages and texting him with no answer. So I texted him to find out if he was still coming. I also called and left messages until his voicemail was finally full. By the time we figured out he wasn't coming it was to late to get someone else for the day.

The problem started with a small leak that this man agreed to come and repair that afternoon. The renter stayed home all afternoon waiting. My dad stayed home all afternoon to take care of payment when the work was done. By the next morning the leak had worsened and was getting worse. I spent most of the day trying to get another plumber set up and the leak is now pretty much an emergency. The renter is having to keep the water main shut off while waiting for another plumber to come tomorrow.

If Payless had let us know he wasn't coming it would have saved us a lot of time and trouble! Too much of this kind of thing happens way too often and I am so happy to know we can let people know about it when it does!
I would imagine that if everyone would get the word out when they have a bad experience these businesses will start showing their customers a little more respect.
