I have been taking my 2 cats and 2 dogs to Dr. Martin for the past 4 years. She and her staff are great. She has done surgery on both of my cats, and one of my dogs. I have referred several people to her, all of whom are happy. We all love our pets. I wouldn't recommend her if I didn't really think she and her staff did a great job.

We've been with Dr. Martin for years. I've followed her with two dogs through three practices until she opened her own. She was unbelievably kind and compassionate as we had to finally let our 16 year old lab go. Just this week she took care of my six year old after she was misdiagnosed by a vet we saw over a holiday weekend.

Do not be fooled by nice, enthusiastic techs. This hospital has caused me hundreds of dollars to fix what they put my puppy through. I took my puppy in when she was having trouble walking. The veterinarian gave me a bad look and said I must have hurt her some how. Xrays, meds. We asked if if could be from the rapid growing, but she said no. I also asked about her spay stitches and the vet told me they were fine. The meds made her very very sick- she threw up everything she ate for 2 days. Boxers tend to have weak stomaches and the vet should have known this.I had to take her back in, get a shot, and new medicine as well as medicine to keep her from throwing up. Puppy went back to not walking, had to take her to an emergency hospital, who diagnosed her with HOD (severe growing pains, common in large breeds) gave me appropriate meds. Also, her stitches were infected, more meds. The hospital staff is very nice, but they don't know what they are doing and give poor advice.
