Highlighting the ranch are the world famous agate beds,featuring thudereggs and ledge agate material. Rocks from all over the world can be found at our rock shop.2nd largest attraction in Jefferson,home of the priday agate beds. We offer lapidary equipment and digging tools. Digging is seasonal and weather permitting. Museum and rock shop. Our goal is to provide "Fun for everyone"- rockhounding,photography, and more. Provided by YP.comTook my 7yo son there and had a great time. Be prepared to figure it out by yourself because you're handed a map and a pick. Once we figured out which layer they were in, the thunder eggs were practically popping out of the ledge and into our bucket. Got about 15 beauties in about an hour. Get there early, because it gets hot! No camping issues because I thought ahead and made a reservation at a lake about 15 minutes away (duh). Did some fun 4 wheeling there, too.
