Provided by YP.comFine for an eye exam but do NOT order glasses or contacts here.
I had an exam at Eyeopia and ordered contacts in December. They said the contacts would take a few months (I've a pretty bad astigmatism), which is no big deal. Called a few months later they said "not yet". Stopped by again later and they had returned the contacts - they had arrived but nobody ever called to let me know, so they sent them back. Had to reorder them. That was in June.
In August, I called to check the status of the contacts, nobody called me back.
Called again, nothing.
So I went in on a day off to get some information. Clerk told me he didn't know but would check and call me with an ETA. He never did.
So I called AGAIN. This time my call was returned. They told me the contacts still weren't in, but my glasses were ready. I went in to pick up the glasses - AND they'd ordered the wrong frames. Wrong color, wrong metal, wrong size. The dude shrugged and said he'd reorder correct ones, should arrive by September.
I'm leaving the country this month, with the wrong glasses and no spare contacts (still wearing the trial pair they gave me last year). At no point has any employee been at all helpful or apologetic.
My eye exam was in December of 2012, it is now August 2013 and Eyeopia has STILL not managed to deliver to me either the contacts or the correct glasses (both of which they demanded payment for in advance). The optometrist seems friendly and gives a fine eye exam, but this is the least competent company I've ever had to order eyeware from (and I've been wearing some form of corrective lenses my whole life). If by some unfortunate stroke of luck you have to get an eye exam here, you definitely want to take the prescription with you and order glasses/contacts somewhere else.
