The Venefit Closure Procedure If you experience discomfort, swelling and varicose veins in your legs, you may be suffering from superficial venous reflux disease. Approximately 25 million people in the United States suffer from venous reflux. Traditionally patients diagnosed with venous reflux would undergo varicose vein stripping surgery. Now, patients can be treated with the Venefit Closure Procedure — a minimally invasive alternative to painful vein stripping surgery. » LEARN MORE ABOUT THE VENEFIT CLOSURE PROCEDURE Sclerotherapy Sclerotherapy is used to correct unwanted and unsightly veins both large and small in size. From the small purple veins to the largest ropey varicose veins, sclerotherapy is a procedure in which a sclerosing solution is directly injected into the vein with a very small needle followed by compression at the site of injection. This causes the vein to close and the body naturally removes it. » LEARN MORE ABOUT SCLEROTHERAPY Ambulatory Phlebectomy Ambulatory phlebectomy is a method of removing varicose veins on the surface of the legs. This procedure is for medium to large vericose veins. It is done in the office under local anesthesia. This is usually done after large vein or truncal reflux has been corrected by endovenous radiofrequency ablation. » LEARN MORE ABOUT AMBULATORY PHLEBECTOMY Veinwave For tiny spider veins of the nose, cheeks or chin areas; we utilize a radiofrequency device known as the Veinwave. This delivers a burst of microwave like energy directly on top of the small vein which is like a "spot weld" treatment to the vessel. » LEARN MORE ABOUT VEINWAVE PROCEDURE
