To the reviewer that complained about the tool rental......if they are not a tool rental company but are a machine shop, you shouldn't expect them to be happy about you doing the work yourself.....thats revenue they aren't getting. I have had very good experiences with them and the work they do.

We're a fairly large equipment dealer in the Macon area, and have been doing business with Cassidy's for 20 years +. Even through the ownership and location change--they've always taken care of us.

these guys do good work and have good prices on their parts. but if you ask them to help you out on something that you're not paying them for, don't expect much. the owner is highly unreasonable, this shop is the only shop that has a tool i need to do a job on my engine and this guy will not for anything let me rent the tool, no matter how big of a deposit i am willing to put down on it, and no matter how quickly i will be able to have the tool back to him. he told me that they don't rent tools to anyone ever but i know another fella that has borrowed the exact tool i need on multiple occasions. although he doesn't personally know me but he personally knows my friend, you would think a good shop owner would be willing to help out a guy who can't afford this specialty tool. i will not be doing business with them ever again
