Provided by YP.comAntebellum on Arlington is absolutely the best around. My husband and I toured just about every facility in the area before settling, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Every home you look at will tell you they treat their residents like family, but the staff at Antebellum really mean it. They have backed up that claim time and time again, and have been so patient, compassionate, and supportive at every juncture-- we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The grounds are very nice; the food, shows, and other amenities are excellent; but at the end of the day what you really want is a staff that cares for your loved one, that will treat them with fairness, respect and love, and that will protect them the same way you would. And that's what you'll get here.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT place your loved one here. My grandmother was there for approx. 6 months and fell at least 10 times during that time period. She has Alzheimer's disease and was in the memory care unit. She was not watched properly and even suffered broken ribs that no one told us about or treated until months later. She was then, out of the blue, told she had to leave because she fell too much. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Medical privacy concerns do not allow us to respond in a way specific to the medical condition of this Resident. We did notify the family and do notify families with any and all condition changes, immediately as we are informed. The actions of Blair House are in accordance with the State of Georgia Regulations for Personal Care Homes. The actions of Blair House are also in accordance with our Residency Agreement; Article II Section F. Transfer to Facility Providing Higher Level of Care/Medical Discharge; Continued residency is based upon the Resident’s ability (physical and mental) to live satisfactorily within the service levels provided and to remain free from any disease or condition that may endanger the Resident or others. In the event the Community at any time and it’s sole discretion, determines through it’s ongoing resident assessments, that the resident requires services beyond those for which the Community is approved to provide, the Resident shall be notified in writing and will be assisted in making arrangements to transfer to an appropriate care setting within the time frame specified in the notice. In the event the resident does not have a person to represent him/her, the Community shall be responsible for making a referral to Adult Protective Services. Article VI Section II Move out Criteria; A resident’s family or Responsible Party will be requested and offered assistance to locate a more ideal setting if any of the following criteria are met: 7. The safety of the Resident, other residents and/or staff is compromised. 8. Resident exhibits behaviors that repeatedly pose a risk to themselves, other residents, or the staff, that cannot be redirected by the environment, behavior methods, or an appropriate medication trial.
