Great selection and friendly staff. They are very accommodating and I can honestly say they are not rude at all. Definitely a blue collar place with a laid back atmosphere. Very knowledgeable and HONEST Staff! There is a nice range with some really nice rental options as well.(Sometimes its best to rent just to make sure its the right weapon for you). The female staff members make it easier for my GF to shop too, without any type of intimidation.

Horrible place. Staff is rude, never helpful, prices are through the roof on everything. Range sucks, old, dirty and stinks , Range Master is a moron, Gang Bangers from the West Side all over the place. If there was zero stars I would check it

Midwest Guns is the best place to go shoot and buy guns. Their staff are all knowledgeable and sincere in helping you make the best purchase. They aren't paid commission so don't ever pressure you to buy at all. I trust these people 100%. Sure....it's not the most beautiful to go but I'm not going there for a beauty contest. I'm so glad to have this place near me.

Does this place let you shoot airsoft guns, if so this place looks pretty set.

Everything was ok at this place the only broplem is the young skinny girl in the front she treat me very bad all the time for no reason so I was trying to avoid her all the time when I go thier but the last time I call the store to get information about a kimber pro cary 2 to buy and sadly she picked up the phone and she said yes we have a lot of kimber gust bring your FOID card and you ready to go I said I know you have a lot of kimbers but my question is do you have the pro cary 2 and she hanged up the phone on me very aggressively I was mad and dispointed I called back and a guy answer me I told him the girl gust hanged up the phone one me and he said it was accedntly hanged up and the true story thier is a broplem with that girl I'm not going back to that place again

Ask for Angel, he is the go to guy. I live in Will county but will buy in cook county because of his customer service.

Don't go. Pricey on everything and has nothing but derelics working there. They are all obnoxious and rude. Don't even get me started about the owner. This guy thinks his crap doesn't stink, yet he smells from a mile away. If you have to drive a little further, go to Mega Sport or GAT. This shop/range is old and falling apart. Not worth the money or aggravation. As a paying customer, you should be treated with respect. You won't get that at Midwest. I wish there was a zero star rating.

Just went to range for first time service was great they have no problem helping u out was very busy which is always a good sign of a good business don't listen to people who just want some thing for nothing its worth every penny

I just bought S&W .38 for my home protection and want to try out my new gun. For myself, I've never shoot any gun before in my life.



I choose this place because I saw many good reviews online. So we(me and my boyfriend) decided to drive 30 miles to this place to try out my new gun.



The place is not as big as we thought, we went inside and met with one white hair guy at the counter. He's never smile and when he talks, he talks straight to the point and professionally. No yuppy yuppy. We puchased ammo with them $22 for RWS 158gr 50 round box.(I checked the price online and the price is right) Everything very smooth and easy with no pressure at all. Then we went to the range and found that range is kind of old, but the guy at the range is very nice(Chubby guy) and enjoy to help any customers. You can choose any range that you want.



I recommend this place for people who're looking for no pressure and no rip-off range.

Range fees are the best around. ($12 with purchase of ammo and you can shoot all day with that fee!) Ammo prices are good to considering its an all American Family owned buisness! Which is rare these day. Huge selection of guns minus all your black rifle needs. Thank the great mayor Daily for that one. Range is has 13 booths and has a full time range officer. Hes a very knowlidgeble younge man with lots of shooting experience and always willing to give a helping hand to anyone whos willing to accept it. The sales floor is also filled with an encyclipidia very friendly people who seem to know the gun world like the back of thier hand.

Been shopping around for something new and have been going here. Very knowledgeable staff. I have had no
problems unlike the other reviewer. All their range prices are on their brochures. Range is on the small side but not a lot of places to go anymore, thankfully this place has stayed around. I'd like to see the musky tackle section of the fishing shop
improved but for the area it's not too bad.

I bought two guns with the intent to purchase yearly passes. the employee told us a price and a week later we go in to buy the passes. But now they want to charge an extra $150 over their quote. I explained to them that they were being petty considering that we just spent $2000 on guns and shoot every other week. The female owner told us that there are other people who spend a lot more than us!!?!?! What the heck is that. As I was leaving since I was upset with her attitude, she says good luck finding another shooting range since they are one of the only ones around. I told her with that attitude she won't be for long. She said some other things that are not appropriate for this website, you get the picture, just trash. The range is nasty, the ventilation ducts don't work, the sights for the targets are only on a few of the stalls and most are not setup properly, the targets have to be hand cranked out, just bad atmosphere. The prices aren't bad on fridays if you bring your own ammo, but now I will be going to GAT guns at least they treat you like a human. DO NOT GO HERE, OR BUY FROM HERE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.
