My experience with Guild Mortgage

My name is Bill and I am a first time homebuyer. When I started my home buying experience I chose to go through one of the big well known banks. I rounded up the required document and went for a pre-approval. The process went quickly and I was pre-approved. My wife and I started our house hunting. We found a house we liked, put in a bid and it was accepted. We were finally getting the house of our dreams. We put down earnest money, had the home inspected and were in the final stages of the process. Two weeks to the closing date the loan processor quit responding to my emails and calls. I went down to see him, when out of the blue he told me I should go with my alternative lender. I had no alternative lender on track so I thought all was lost. That is when my agent recommended Jimi Townsend at Guild mortgage. With only two weeks until closing watching her go into action was amazing. She truly knows the ins and outs of the business. After providing Jimi and her staff with the documents they needed they went to work plowing through red tape and obstacles that I would have thought impossible in such a short amount of time. The whole time my wife and I felt that they truly cared for us. As first time homebuyers they kept us well informed about every step of the process and personally put my mind at ease. The end result, our home closed on time. We received money back that we were not expecting and settled on a great rate.
