Founded in 1951, North Shore Christian School is an independent, interdenominational, co-educational day school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and fine arts. North Shore Christian School has a staff of instructional specialists in music, art, Spanish, and physical and gifted education. The school offers a half-day kindergarten program for elementary-grade students. North Shore Christian School has a library and media center that offers various books, newspapers, magazines and encyclopedias. It supplies crayons, watercolors, notebooks, scissors, glue sticks and boxes for elementary-grade students. The school also conducts classes in Bible studies and stories.
