The House That Jack Built was founded by Jack Whetstine, President, to meet Bay County and surrounding counties needs for quality, well-built housing that is custom tailored to each homeowners individual needs and desires, at a price that they can afford. We strive to be a turn key builder because we understand that the idea of building a home can be intimidating to some people. Our goal is to completely educate the customer up front of the multiple facets of home construction, lot preparation, permits and financing not just quote a square foot price. At the end of the day, we want our customer to have a full understanding of what it will take for them to have the home that they want where they want it, and more importantly to understand the whole cost involved (without having surprises in the process).

The House That Jack Built did great work to quickly do repairs on the dry-rotted wood for the home we were buying. We needed a VERY quick turn-around to get the foreclosed home we were buying up to snuff before closing so that it could be insured. In the midst of storms, they stayed on top of things to ensure things were done well and in a timely manner! I would highly recommend them to others.

We are currently in the process of lining up The House That Jack Built for exterior painting, electrical work, and future remodels.

Great company founded on Biblical principles. We chose them to build our home 12 years ago. They delivered on everything they promised. We are still living in this home. We highly recommend Jack Whetstine and his company, The House That Jack Built.
