This campground is NOT family ...

This campground is NOT family friendly. We stayed in our Trailer and our son and his family rented the site next to ours. They have three children. We've stayed at the Lynden KOA for many years but this year they wouldn't allow my son to have two medium sized tents on his site to accommodate his three children. They said one tent was allowed and a second one less than 42 inches. There was no way this could work for the kids to sleep there, so we had to make other sleeping arrangements. The staff at the campground stated they don't care whether people go there or not...said if we didn't like it, then leave. We stayed and that was only the first problem. The staff does NOT enforce the quiet time rules after 10:00 p.m. Every night there were people out there partying and making noise until 3:00 a.m. The last night there were teenagers illegally drinking at their campsite next to ours. Again, no enforcement of that rule. The only enforcement was to keep out families who paid the price of an RV site to be next to us. This has never been a problem before. We felt like the staff were the KOA Nazis. We will not be staying at Lynden KOA again. This campground is not family friendly.
